Lee Wells is an artist, exhibition organizer and advisor currently living and working New York. His practice primarily questions systems of power and control and has been exhibited internationally. He is a co-founder and director of IFAC-arts. Wells is currently a curator at large for Scope Art Fairs and is a site editor for www.rhizome.org, an affiliate of the New Museum of Contemporary Art .

The Biennial's programme includes exhibitions, performances, a film programme curated by Mark Nash and a symposium organised in collaboration with the American University of Sharjah, RSA (London) and curatorial practice Latitudes (Barcelona).
