La pieza se estará presentando en el Teatro de la Universidad, el 24 y 25 de abril, a las 8:00 p.m. y 1:00 p.m. respectivamente, como parte del cierre del Congreso Internacional Gaia y Cambio Climático que llevará a cabo el Recinto del 19 al 21La obra multimedia Humano Poshumano: Monólogos extremos sobre la ciencia y la condición humana presenta el afán de acelerar los procesos de cambio de la naturaleza que llevaría al humano, no sólo a conocer, anticipar y, consecuentemente, dominar su estado y comportamiento natural con el fin de alterarlo para su propio beneficio, sino, también, por vía de dicha búsqueda, prolongar su vida y buscar la inmortalidad.

Fueron muchas las expectativas que lleno la Feria Circa Puerto Rico ‘07. La preparación y la presentación del evento en el Centro de Convenciones así como en sus áreas circundantes hicieron de ese fin de semana uno de abarrotamiento artístico total. El escogido de un espacio más pequeño dio un vuelco sorpresa al evento ya que entendemos hizo del recorrido por la feria una experiencia más personal e interesante.
Now in its third year, PRAGUEBIENNALE re-launches itself once more. Through a vast display of both recent and past works (from painting and photography to performance and installation art) this year’s edition aims to explore and pinpoint the most significant aspects of Central European art. The show displays works by artists young and old, new and affirmed, as well as covering the very movements that shaped the sixties and seventies.

Dragging Up the City is the prerogative of Vilnius Is Burning where an imaginary community of people can create the city itself. Like its namesake, the exhibition is not exactly about Vilnius nor is it about burning. The exhibition brings together Vilnius-based artists along with others living in San Juan, Brussels, Berlin and New York.
Art and politics are contested and overlapping fields that are complexly manifested in the theory and artwork of twentieth- and twenty-first-century artists. This symposium seeks to investigate artists’ attempts to deploy art as a means of political force and to critically engage with radically changing conditions of modern and contemporary life.
For more than thirty years, Genzken has created a diverse oeuvre that spans sculpture, installation, photography, collage and film – a practice that continues to move and develop while constantly taking on new challenges. For Genzken, life and existence are just as complex as art itself.
